Susan is the best friend I’ve ever had.  She is incredibly warm, passionate, caring, smart, and funny.  She complements me in so many ways that I can honestly say she fits me like a glove. She is my favorite travel companion and we’ve had many great adventures together – from traveling through Asia to road trips down the Oregon Coast. 

Susan is a native of Louisville, Kentucky and travels home frequently to spend time with family.  Her family is incredibly warm and open.  From the first time I met them, I was welcomed like a son. I can’t wait for us to have a child so they can experience the warmth and generosity of our Kentucky family. 

Susan has so much love to give that it amazes me at times. She has a wonderful way of making people around her feel comfortable and making friends wherever we go.  She is truly amazing with children and when I see her playing with them I am awed at how natural she is and of how great a mother she will be. Fortunately, Susan’s work schedule is very flexible. She will stay home full-time during the first months with our child and then part-time after that.
