Steve is my rock and foundation – he is truly my best friend. He is strong, patient, generous, and has a heart filled with so much love. He is committed to making the world a better place – whether through his work or volunteering in the community. He also has a great sense of humor, filling our home with laughter.  Steve has a deep love for the outdoors and we have had many outdoor adventures.  He is a talented photographer and cannot wait to teach our child how to see the world in new ways.

Steve has a strong sense of family. He grew up in Portland, Oregon surrounded by his loving parents and a big extended family. His family has many wonderful traditions which include family hikes and a summer beach trip to the same town that they have gone to for over 40 years. He is so excited to share our Oregon family with our child!

Steve’s humor and openness is popular with all of the children in our lives. He loves to play with kids and is always so creative with them.  I look forward to seeing him be a dad – from late night feedings to reading books at night. I know he will shine.
